Over Labor day weekend we flew to Iowa to see Brad's grandma, dad and stepmom. So it was the babies first time on a plane and they did amazing. We had read all sorts of stuff about air travel with twins, etc. so we were quite prepared. It wasn't near as stressful as we had pictured in our heads. getting thru the airport was no problem, we just took the double stroller with the babies in it with two diaper bags and 2 carseats some how strapped to the stroller as well. I pushed the stroller while Brad toted two suitcases on wheels behind him. We checked everything except for the stroller and diaper bags and we were able to just push the stroller all the way up to boarding and they put it under the plane. We had a lay over in Memphis on the way there and back which worked out perfect both ways. We were able to eat and feed and change the babies just before getting on the next plane. It was a great visit with Brad's family and let me tell you, his grandma is amazing! She has more energy then me! She is 81 and still does all her house work ( and her house is the cleanest house I have ever seen in my life, for real) She mows her lawn, takes her dog for like 2 walks a day. This woman hardly ever sits down! We love staying there because its just one of those places that makes you feel really good and relaxed. Her house is older and full of windows so it's so light and airy and it's in this perfect little neighborhood. The town is called Muscatine and it's on the Mississippi River. We went to the river front one day and walked around. The bridge you see in one of the photos is Named after Brad's grandfathers brother, the Norbert F. Beckey bridge. Anyway we had a great time and the babies did so good on the planes and while we were there. It was the first time they all got to see the babies too!
