There's Something Wonderful About Love: First Fights...

Lately if we walk out of the room for a second and leave the twins sitting up playing on the floor, this is what we come back to find...

8 years in the making..

My husband and I went thru 8 years of heartache before having our twins. I was ready to be a mother at 23 but God had other plans. We both wanted a girl first, we had her named picked out and day dreamed about what she would look like. After a year with no success we began to seek medical help. One year turned into 4, 4 years turned into 8. Talk about walking thru a valley! This was one that I couldn't ever imagine getting thru until I finally gave it to God which I thought I had done, but hadn't. I knew for a long time what the Lord wanted from me but I was afraid to let go of this. Giving it over completely was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Even though I felt like He had promised me my Lilly and she was already so real to me, I had to say and accept that if I didn't have a baby that was ok, I would be ok. What He had in store for us was so much more, another gift...Asher. I did make it out of that valley, blessed with not only one baby, but two. This is my journey from pregnancy to the joys of having my two little miracles and realizing it's not about me, it was about Him, my creator, all along.
